Who we are

We are a statewide electrical contractor in the commercial and industrial industries. We employ over 140 men and women, but still have a small company feel with 5 offices in the state of Iowa to better serve our customers. From competitive bidding to design-build, we complete all projects, big and small. As an affiliate of the nation's premier provider of electrical solutions, IES (Integrated Electrical Services), we have access to the knowledge of partner companies nationwide. The company founder, Johnny Menninga, now serves as Regional Operations Officer for I.E.S. On September 1, 2005, Norm Vos was appointed President of Menninga Electric, an I.E.S. affiliate. We believe in the merit shop philosophy and business ethics, and are a member of Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC).
